Building components and pipe wells (2)

Hello, everyone.

Today we will explain articles 6.2.6, 6.2.7, 6.2.9 and 6.2.10 of the construction regulations.

6.2.6 this article is mandatory.

For buildings with curtain walls, the main reason is that most of the curtain walls have cavity structures.

These cavities are connected up and down, which will produce chimney effect in case of fire.

If certain separation measures are not taken, it will aggravate the rapid spread of fire horizontally and vertically, resulting in the overall fire of the building and it is difficult to put out the fire.

Non combustible materials such as glass wool and aluminum silicate wool are commonly used as filling materials for the gap between curtain wall and surrounding fire separation components, the gap between curtain wall and the outer edge of floor slab or partition wall, and the gap between curtain wall and adjacent solid wall openings.

In the actual project, it is easy to fall off and crack due to the influence of vibration and temperature difference.

Therefore, it is stipulated that the gap between the curtain wall and each floor slab and partition wall should be filled and compacted with materials with certain elasticity and fire resistance.

This material can be non combustible or flame retardant.

If flame retardant materials are used, it shall be ensured that they can expand and deform under the action of flame or high temperature, and have certain fire resistance.

For buildings with curtain walls, the wall or fire cornice between the openings on the upper and lower exterior walls shall still meet the requirements of article 6.2.5 of this code.

6.2.7 this article is mandatory.

This article specifies the requirements for fire separation of important equipment rooms such as fire control room and fire equipment room set in the building.

The fire control room and equipment room of fixed fire extinguishing system set in other buildings shall ensure that the building will not be threatened by fire in case of fire and ensure the normal operation of fire-fighting facilities.

The ventilation and air conditioning room is the place where the ventilation pipes gather and one of the main parts of the fire spread.

Based on the above considerations, this article stipulates that these rooms should be fire separated from other parts.

However, considering the low fire risk of class D and E production, the requirements for the fire resistance limit of the partition components of the ventilator room in these two types of plants are reduced.

6.2.9 paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of this article are mandatory provisions.

As the shaft in the building runs up and down, once a fire occurs, it is easy to spread vertically along the shaft.

Therefore, fire prevention measures are required.

For the fire resistance requirements of elevator shaft, see articles 3.2.1 and 5.1.2 of this specification.

Elevator landing door is a closed door set at the entrance of elevator landing, that is, elevator shaft door.

The fire resistance limit of elevator landing door shall be tested according to the current national standard fire resistance test of elevator landing door (GB / t27903) and meet the corresponding judgment standards.

The fire-resistant measures shall not be taken for the vertical spread of the fire shaft and cable in the floor slab, which is equivalent to the fire-resistant measures of the fire shaft in the building.

In the actual project, the separation of each floor has little impact on the maintenance, but it can improve the fire safety of the building.

Therefore, these shafts are required to be fireproof separated on each floor.

The “safety escape door” in this article refers to the openable elevator safety escape door that needs to be set every 11m for the floor where the elevator does not stop according to the requirements of relevant elevator standards.

6.2.10 the outdoor electroluminescent billboard directly set on the wall with combustible and non combustible materials is easy to cause fire due to the fire of the wall or combustible billboard due to power supply lines and electrical appliances, and can cause the fire to spread along the building facade.

Outdoor billboards block the external windows of the building, which is not conducive to the smoke exhaust of the building, the emergency escape of personnel and the external fire fighting and rescue in case of fire.

The “wall with combustible and non combustible materials” in this article mainly refers to that the wall where the billboard is set is composed of combustible or non combustible materials, or the wall surface of this part is provided with an external thermal insulation layer or external decoration layer composed of non combustible or combustible thermal insulation materials…
