After more than a month of intense work, the laying of the last roof corrugated steel plate was completed on July 8, the roof concrete pouring was completed on July 11, and the main control building was officially capped.
“First, the underground part shall be poured, and then the building components shall be spliced in according to the reserved position, which is similar to large-sized assembled building blocks.” Project Manager Li Mengchen took the author to the steel beam.

Fuxing substation is designed and constructed according to the positioning requirements of the group company’s responsible power supply, green power supply and digital power supply.

Key links such as operation dynamics on the construction site, foundation pit excavation and scaffold erection are tracked in real time to ensure the construction quality of key nodes.” Li Mengchen introduced.
At present, the station has entered the electrical installation stage and is installing two 63 megavolt a main transformers.
It is the first all steel structure indoor intelligent substation of Baotou Power Supply Bureau.
The project investment is 68.63 million yuan.
It is expected to start power transmission before October 30.
After completion, it will provide 110 kV power supply points for Baotou metal deep processing park, meet the load needs of important users such as Meike silicon phase I and II projects in the park and Baotou Steel Rare Earth downstream enterprises, further improve the economy and reliability of regional power grid operation, and play an important role in optimizing the power grid structure and economic development in the west of Baotou city.
