In order to actively respond to the call of Suzhou to vigorously develop prefabricated buildings and fully implement the construction goals and tasks of prefabricated buildings issued by the municipal government, professional technicians from Suzhou Engineering Cost Management Office have visited the manufacturers of prefabricated components (PC components) in Suzhou for many times to investigate the production technology and production costs, and to investigate the installation process and purchase contract price of PC components at the construction sites of prefabricated buildings such as security houses, Collect the design capacity and actual capacity data of component manufacturers and the demand for PC components of projects under construction.
Based on a large amount of data collected in the early research, combined with the average production cost and market supply and demand of each component manufacturer, after analysis and calculation, the PC component guidance price was published in Suzhou Project Cost Information (monthly) since August 2018, which is the first city in Jiangsu Province to publish the PC component guidance price.
In the next step, the PC component guidance price will be timely adjusted according to the price fluctuation of raw materials, changes in the market supply and demand, and will be released once a month to provide accurate price information of relevant components for the bidding and pre settlement of prefabricated construction projects in public projects invested by the government, such as affordable housing in Suzhou, and to provide cost information technology support for the steady and orderly development of the modernization of the construction industry in Suzhou, and the comprehensive completion of building a modern demonstration city of the construction industry.
