The floor and walls of the house are mass-produced in the factory, and then transported to the construction site to be directly assembled.
This “building blocks to build a house” construction method is quietly emerging, and it turns out that building a house can also be done so quickly.
Prefabricated concrete components (referred to as PC components) are the foundation for achieving the prefabrication of the main structure.
PC is widely used in countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Japan, and developed countries have made PC the main method of modern architecture.
However, China’s construction industry is still mainly extensive and has not formed a standardized system.
The industrialization rate of construction is only 1%, about 1/70 of the average level of developed countries, and there is great room for development.
While PC production lines are experiencing significant development, they are also facing more challenges to solve.
The future development trend of PC production lines should have the following characteristics: firstly, they need to develop into nomadic or mobile PC production lines.
Currently, PC production lines require equipment foundations, which are fixed with concrete as the foundation.
The construction cycle is long, requiring excavation of soil, cast-in-place concrete, and maintenance.
The installation time of PC production lines can reach 3 to 4 months.
Moreover, in order to reduce transportation costs, the transportation distance radiation range of PC production lines is generally controlled within 200 kilometers.
Beyond 200 kilometers, due to the large volume and high self weight of these prefabricated concrete components, the logistics transportation cost of specialized component transport vehicles is high.
After the completion of a construction site, the PC production line needs to be moved to the next construction site, and it will take another 3 to 4 months to excavate the equipment foundation, cast in situ concrete, and so on.
The future development direction is to make the PC production line into a detachable track type, with the walking system and support system all built on the track, similar to the track of a train, without the need for concrete equipment foundation, just like the Mongolian yurt nomadic method on the grassland.
On the one hand, it migrates from one place to another, and also shortens the construction cycle of the PC production line.
It is expected that the migration of the production line can be completed in half a month, Shorten the time by 80% compared to the current method.
Vanke Group was the first company in China to try this method to produce PC components for nomadic PC production lines.
In addition to adopting industrial assembly construction, Vanke also built some fixed molds on site in the first and third sections of the 8th phase of Xi’an Vanke City, as an attempt at nomadic PC production lines.
Construction began in January 2015 and started production in April
