© The Baiyu Climate and Energy Conservation Shenzhen Radio and Television Financial Center Building is located in the central area of Futian, adjacent to the current Radio and Television Building to the south.
There is a public square between the two buildings.
We envision the Shenzhen Radio, Television, and Financial Center Building as a super high-rise building that can adapt to the weather conditions of strong sunlight and humid air in the Lingnan region all year round.
We abandoned the typical glass curtain wall of skyscrapers and established an effective sunshade system to reduce light pollution and urban heat island effect.

The vision of building users gradually opens up with the changes in shading components, and these changes also give the building facade a unique and powerful rhythm.
The result is that the usage rate of curtain wall glass is reduced by about 40% compared to conventional design, providing people with a more environmentally friendly workplace and living space.

There are no columns at the four corners to provide a more open view.
Two multi-story courtyards, along with a garden on the roof of the podium, provide outdoor spaces for people to rest, socialize, and work, while also enjoying excellent views.

There is an elevated square in the middle of the colonnade, providing 1400 square meters of roofed activity space for the public.

The hot and rainy climate in the Lingnan region has never been an obstacle for people to embrace the outdoor environment or enjoy life.
People use architectural vocabulary, including low-carbon methods, to cope with the inconvenience brought by these climates – from the use of colonnades, roofed outdoor spaces, and courtyards to various shading systems; These vocabulary not only gave birth to local architectural styles, but also nourished the lifestyle of Lingnan.
