The Xiaogan Changhu 220kV substation project constructed by Hubei Xiaogan power supply company and Xiaogan light source Power Group Co., Ltd.
was awarded the “China installation engineering quality award” (China installation star).
China Installation Engineering Quality Award (China installation star) is the highest Engineering Quality Award in China’s installation industry.
The projects applying for this award shall have the characteristics of safety, practicality, beauty and innovation, and the quality and technology shall reach the domestic advanced level.
This award is another award for Xiaogan Changhu 220kV substation project after winning the Gold Award for high-quality power transmission and transformation project of State Grid Co., Ltd.
and the high-quality project award of China’s power industry.
Changhu 220 kV substation was started on April 1, 2018 and put into operation on June 24, 2019.
The project covers an area of 0.92 hectares.
In this phase, one 240 MVA main transformer and four 220 kV outgoing lines are built.
It has played a positive role in improving the operation reliability and power supply quality of power grid in Xiaonan economic development zone and promoting regional economic development.
Changhu 220kV substation is the first fully assembled substation demonstration project in Hubei.
The project uses many new technologies, new processes, new processes, new equipment and new materials.
For example, 10kV longitudinal rotating switchgear is adopted in the system of State Grid Corporation for the first time, and 10 new technologies involving green construction such as concrete crack control technology and high-performance steel are adopted in the process of project construction.
Since the project was put into operation, a total of 10 innovative technological achievements have been formed, including 2 provincial, ministerial and industrial scientific and technological progress awards, 2 QC achievement awards and 5 new practical patents.
As of January 10, 2022, it has operated safely for 931 consecutive days, with a cumulative transmission power of 1.869 billion kwh.
