The construction of the Chongtai Yangtze River Tunnel project is currently underway, and on the other hand, the construction of the Chongtai Yangtze River Tunnel PC component intelligent production and distribution center of China Railway Tunnel Bureau located in the Chongming Industrial Park has also made significant progress.
It is expected that the entire park will complete equipment installation and debugging in June, and start trial operation.
The park mainly undertakes the important task of producing pipe segments and box culverts for tunnels.
The segment is the main assembly component of shield tunneling construction, which is the innermost barrier of the tunnel and bears the role of resisting soil pressure, groundwater pressure, and some special loads.
The quality of shield tunnel segments is directly related to the overall quality and safety of the tunnel, and affects the waterproof and durability performance of the tunnel.
Box culvert refers to a concrete platform at the bottom of a tunnel that can be used for high-speed rail transportation.
The reporter saw on site that the entire park has clear and clear zoning, and the basic construction has been basically completed.
Currently, work is underway on lighting facilities and green layout in the park.
In the digital intelligent segment production workshop in the core area of the park, Overhead crane is slowly lifting a large segment production mold and placing it at a designated location under the command of staff; The technical personnel are debugging another mold.
The Chongtai Yangtze River Tunnel has a total length of 11.32 kilometers and requires 6999 pipe segments and 6699 box culverts to be produced here.
The diameter of the shield cutter is 15.4 meters, which is a super large diameter shield.
Each 2 meters forward of the shield tunneling is a loop, followed by the immediate completion of the installation and splicing of ten segments.
The person in charge of the park told reporters that the pipe segments produced here are currently the largest in size in domestic railway tunnels, so there are higher requirements for mold accuracy and installation and splicing technology.
The production of park segments will introduce more intelligent facilities and adopt a “less human” model, with robotic arms replacing some manual labor.
